Karen is a graduate of The International Academy of Design in Tampa with an A.S. in Interactive Media, as well as a B.A. in Graphic Design from Belford University. An award winning graphic designer, Karen has a diverse background including real estate sales and marketing in the D.C. metropolitan area, crusading as a paramedic in the hills of West Virginia, and diligently applying her life saving skills in an Intensive Care Unit here in Florida. Karen has been a featured speaker at both The International Academy of Design and The University of Southern Florida. She enjoys time with her family and friends, single malt scotch, theatre, baseball games, the Gulf Coast beaches, shopping on River Street in Savannah, Tai Chi, Jazzercise and dancing whenever possible.
